The Phoenix Enterprise Centre (PEC) Food Pantry, operated by our Advice & Guidance team, offers essential support to residents in the former Copeland area facing financial hardship. Every Tuesday, our dedicated volunteers and PEC’s Food Pantry Co-ordinator, come together to organise, sort, and prepare food bags for delivery to the most vulnerable people in our local communities. Without the invaluable help our our volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to meet the increasing demand for food assistance in our community.
The need for essential food is on the rise, driven by the challenging cost-of-living circumstances where families are forced to make tough choices between necessities like food and heating. As a Volunteer Driver for our Food Pantry, you play a crucial role in ensuring that we can continue to provide essential support to those in crisis.
As demands for food bags from our Food Pantry are increasing we are looking for a couple of Volunteer Drivers who can spare 2 hours per week to help our Food Pantry deliver bags of food to our local communities.
Join our team of Volunteer Drivers and make a difference in your community by supporting Phoenix Enterprise Centre’s Food Pantry!
